The process at a glance
Schedule a physician evaluation.A qualified physician reviews your medical history and determines whether you have a qualifying condition and whether medical marijuana may be appropriate.
Physician certification and registry entry.If eligible, the physician enters the required certification information in Florida's Medical Marijuana Use Registry.
Complete the state identification card process.First-time qualified patients complete the state application and required identity/residency steps through the Florida registry.
Use licensed Florida MMTCs after approval.Qualified patients with the required state status may obtain authorized products from licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers in Florida.
